Repeated Reboots In Vista

Cashew1970

Question

I have an issue that is driving me mad.

Whenever I open anything in Creator 2009...

Afetr a very short while... my machine reboots..

Does anyone have any suggesions as to what is going wrong?

I run Vista on a Quad Core, with 4 GB Ram, and a separate 512 Graphics card....

Any advice greatly appreciated

Probably because your system is set to restart after a system failure, go read the event in the system log.

Thanks for the suggestions...

I have tried resetting the option of rebooting the system, but this made no change...

The strange thing is that the machine seems to shut down properly.... I.E, things shut down in order, just like i have clicked the button to re-boot it.

I am going to try a reinstall, as per the other post... and I will report back.

BTW Roxio support also asked me to restart the machine with all of my startup, and all of my services (Appart from the Roxio ones) and i still had the issue...

This is.... what you could say....... VERY frustrating!
