Vista 64 Bit Creator 2009 Hangs And Crashes

Hi,

I am running Vista Ultimate on a 64 bit Quad Core with 8 gigs of RAM. Virtually every application of Roxio Creator 2009 either hangs or outright closes. This is a clean install.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you do what was recommended? Did it make any difference? I'm having a similar problem, although I can get through creating a slideshow about 2/3 of the way before it shuts down. Is it a Vista issue, a 64 bit issue, an issue only with the latest Roxio version? Ive been trying to create slideshows to burn to dvd's for Christmas gifts, it's Christmas Eve, and I'm afraid I won't get these finished. I wondered if part of my problem was the number of photos I was attempting to put into the s1lideshow. I have friends with earlier versions of Roxio and they love them.

Like you, any help would be appreciated.

There are a lot of things that can cause that - but we really need to know first and foremost if your computer can actually handle the rendering

Specs please - CPU, RAM and graphics card/chipset

Also, have you updated DirectX 9.0c and your graphics drivers?
