Mydvd Changes Format

Hi all. I have been trying to create a DVD with EMC 10. Everything seems to work ok apart from the fact that the movies are in 16:9 format when creating the project but are in 4:3 format once burned to DVD. I'm pretty sure it's just a setting problem but I can't find it. Anyone help.

No setting, the problem is in your source files.

 

Proper 16:9 files have a Flag in the file that is set. If properly set, the files are handled automatically.

 

There is a setting in MyDVD for a 16:9 project but it only affects the Menus…

 

Look in the Tips & Tricks for some info on camcorders.

I am using the 'Fit to Disc' setting in the project prferences. If I were to pick one of the other settings (eg 720 x 576) might that help? Any idea which one is closest to 16:9 format?
