Downloaded the software from Lenovo and spent yesterday learning about a clean install, disabling DEP, stop services and reloading software 5 times. Here's where I'm at now:

 

Software seemed to load completely and without error - progress - yeah. Thanks for those clean install and DEP posts.

 

When I click on the program icon from the Start menu, the program starts to load. Loads an online registration dialogue box, load the privacy information and marketing details on the left, the right side is blank. The top of the dialogue box says - Online registration.

 

When I bring up task manager I see there is a program called "Roxio_Central33.exe" running. I end this process and the dialogue box goes away.

 

Help!!

You have to either register or skip that box.If you do then it should progress on to the opening of the application.

There's no option to do either. There are no buttons nothing in the dialogue box. The only way to get rid of it is threw taskmanager. Done this 4 times now, hangs at this half empty dialogue box.

Make sure you have your resolution set to at least 1024 x 768 and the DPI set to 96.

Thanks for all the help... for a split second in the corner of the screen showed up a "cancel" option. Caught it clicked, then got the skip registration, reg. later, or skip. What a pain.... Thanks to all....
