Burning Problems

I received creator 2009 as a gift. When i try to create chapters for my movies, it keeps on freezing and automatically closes. Also it freezes when i am 97% done when i am burning to a disc. I am updated to everything that there is to update for the the creator 2009. Is there any way i can fix this so i can create chapters and finish burning my movies to 100%?
