Blackberry Desktop Manager / Media Manager Conflict

BillPez

Question

Media Manager 9 is distributed with Blackberry Desktop Manager.

When I installed Creator 2009 in a system with the Blackberry Desktop Manager, it seemed to work but the resulting installation seemed to include some components from the Blackberry version of Media Manager, so I have now uninstalled Creator 2009.

I would like to know how I can essentially upgrade the Media Manager in the Blackberry suite with the Creator 2009 product that I have bought.

Ultimately I would like it integrated with the Blackberry Desktop manager for synchronizing to Outlook as well as using the features of Creator 2009, but I would be happy to have remove those elements that are unique to blackberrry in the Blackberrry desktop manager and the rest in the Creator 2009 installation. I don't want to have two versions on my system.

Can someone help?

Bill

You would have to contact Blackberry, if you want an upgrade to their version of the software.

OK, but I am under the assumption that the Sonic Roxio version has more features than the Blackberry version. Besides I have already purchased and downloaded the Sonic Roxio version.

So my problem remains ... Is there any way to replace the Blackberry version with the 2009 version or at least ensure that the two versions co-exist properly?
