I've just installed and reinstalled Creator 2009 and gotten the same error. A site search turns up this same error for other Roxio products and I tried the fix suggested. But, the Creator 2009 disc doesn't have the same file. Apparently it's a missing dll for directx9. I downloaded and ran the directx updates and still have the same error message. Any suggestions? There seem to be lots of sights to download dll's but I wouldn't know where to save it on my hard-drive or if the files are "safe".
Thanks for any suggestions.
Forgot to add ...I did download the Service Pack 2 and rebooted after each of the installs.
