Selecting One Movie From Several In A Folder

Question

I have over 100 movies on an External Hard Drive, and many of them have 2 or 3 short movies in a folder. Now I want to seperate them into individual folders. I have the User Manual for EMC 10, but I cannot find any specific reference to doing this.

There is a hint that I should select Video Compile, then select one movie (at a time), then Save As to a new folder. But I am having trouble doing this. Is that the correct way to go about this? Does it matter if do it from a DVD-RW disc to my External Hard Drive?

I hope I have adequately described my desire/problem.

Thanks for any help. George.........

You don't need any program to separate them. Use My Computer, create new folders, and move the movies to the folders you want, just like you would copy any file from one place to another.

The "copy/paste" copies the entire folder. I need to seperate each movie into its own folder.

I am still experimenting with the "Compile" approach, but so fgar, no luck.

Thanks. George.........

PS: I hope I have properly added this reply (I went through several gyrations).
