Splitting Up A Finalized Movie

So, I finished up the movie. Apparently that was only half the battle!

Got it down to a reasonable size (just under a gig at 15 minutes) as an mpeg, went to upload....and then realized...it needs to be less than 10 minutes long for YouTube!

Sooo I have come to you guys yet again to ask....there must be a way.....guide me...

I need to split my finalized movie into 2 parts.

Is there any way of doing this? Preferably without having to go back, edit the timeline, cut everything past the half point out, put everything back in, finalize it again twice for each half, yadda yadda.

Please help! I'd like to get this darn thing uploaded to YouTube ASAP.

You used VideoWave to make this and there you used Output As, correct???

 

Use VW, load your project, split it and delete the first half. Output As ~ Part 2.

 

Load your project again, split it and delete the second half. Output As ~ Part 1.

 

As long as you do not Save a Project, it remains unchanged.
