The name My DVD can be edited at the top of the Toast Video window when DVD-video is selected as the format. In other words, before a VIDEO_TS folder gets authored by Toast. In order to change this after you've created a disc image you'll need to extract the MPEG videos from the disc image and create a new DVD and menu. The extraction is done by mounting the disc image, selecting DVD with the top button of the Media Browser and then dragging whatever appears in the browser window to the Video window (with DVD-video selected as the format).

I saved an image file as MD1.toast. Mounting this to burn a DVD

always produces a DVD with the title My DVD and I have found

no way to change this. Any ideas?

Thanks but the title MD1 is in the box at the top of the window

when Video>DVD Video is selected. This produced the image titled MD1.toast

Burning this image mounts a title My DVD which I can;t change.

I'm on the road for business right now and will have to check into this when I get back. I only know of two places where My DVD appears. One is where I described and the other is in the Menu window (which you access by clicking the menu thumbnail when in the DVD-video setting). The latter shows in the menu that appears when you start the play back of the DVD. Usually changing the text at the top of the video window automatically changes what appears in the menu, but they can be different.
