Burning Dvd From Widows Media Center Recording

EnvoyEd

Question

Will Roxio Creator 2009 allow me to burn a DVD from a TV recording that I recorded with Windows Media Center? Also will I be able to separate the DVD recording into "chapters" with different titles? The recording that I made was a parade with 18 different groups in it and I want to title each one.

Thanks, Ed in Philly

If you're not using the TVPack for Media Center which creates .wtv files, you're ok. Roxio will work with the native dvr-ms files. .wtv files are not yet supported by almost any program yet. With Windows 7 coming out later this year, early next year, I'm sure you'll see more support for .wtv files.

There are also free programs that convert dvr-ms files to mpeg that can then be imported into Roxio.

Creator 2009 has Videowave and MyDVD to help you edit and burn your files to a menu dvd.
