Please do not hijack a thread with an unrelated problem. Start a new thread and explain exactly what you want to do, what you are doing, what program you are using, your system specs.

I am not sure what you mean about hijacking a thread..I am new at this..isn't that what "newbie" means????..I am having the same problem that everyone is having trying to use the video convert in Creator 2009. I am using it to convert my .vob files to load onto to my Ipod..that is an option in the Creator 2009 software. I am getting frequent crashes when trying to select a .vob file to convert. It has worked a few times for me, but most of the time it crashes. I wasn't following what the other individual wrote about Superfetch service and wanted more information..if you dont mind.

You attached your post to a thread about burning Video_TS to a DVD. You are talking about iPods - completely different problem especially since there were already enough posters confusing the issue in that thread.

Do a google search on Superfetch to find out what it is. It has nothing to do with Roxio.

Actually, I am not confusing the issue. As i have already wrote, I am getting the same error everyone else is in this thread. Below is my error:

APPCRASH

VideoConvert11.exe

11.1.0.14

I just happen to be using videoconvert11.exe to convert my .vob files to .mp4 files for my Ipod..get it??? and I have tried all the suggestions so far. The Superfetch suggestion was the only thing I have not tried yet...so now does it matter that I inquired further about that suggestion???? videoconvert11.exe has the option of converting the files for upload onto Ipods. It seems we are all having the same issue, that when selecting the video to be converted..the program crashes..doesn't matter what you are converting it to..if you can't even get that far...

what is Superfetch service? I am converting TS video for my Ipod. I'll get a few done and then wont be able to add another movie b/c it crashes. If I keep trying, eventually it will add the movie and then convert.
