Can't Burn Dvd+r Dl

tech5

Question

I'm using a lite-on drive that supports DVD+R DL. I started burning a .iso and it seemed to be going just fine for a few minutes until I got a BSOD and my computer restarted. I've been getting BSODs often lately, so I don't think it's related to Roxio software.

After my computer restarted I could no longer burn the same file to a brand new DL disk (from the same package). It gives the error about the disk not being supported and to use a disk with appropriate write speed.

Since then, I updated my firmware, and downloaded a couple lite-on utilities (BookType and SmartBurn) and nothing changed. I even booted on my other hard drive with Win XP and still the same issue.

Check your computer for viruses (virii), malware, and spyware.

Then, reboot, defrag your hard drive, and reboot again.

Now try it.
