Peter Mahnke
I am getting an error that I can't find any help for: Could not record the disc because you don't have the required access permissions. Result code =-54 I am attempting to do a Video_TS folder burn. I have done a Disc Utility check on everything and it seems ok... I just bought the program today and have no idea where to go... any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks, Peter
tsantee
Is it possible that something is missing from the original VIDEO_TS folder (such as ripping a DVD using something other than full disc extraction)?
Peter Mahnke
Is it possible that something is missing from the original VIDEO_TS folder (such as ripping a DVD using something other than full disc extraction)? I guess that is possible. I just tried another Video_TS folder and got a different error, so perhaps something is wrong with that folder, but the error seems odd if that was the case. The errors are odd and sometimes point in a completely wrong direction (my favorite is an out of memory error that has nothing to do with memory). Toast reads the IFO in the VIDEO_TS and it needs to find everything the IFO is pointing to.
