Video Compilation Min Video Card Requirements

iacoia

Question

I am trying to convert Tivo files to DVD using the Copy & Convert Video Compilation function per Tivo's directions. When I click on the Video Compilation tab I get an error message that my video card fails to meet minimum specification. I can't find anywhere that tells me what the minimum spec should be except that it needs to be DirectX 9 compatible. I've updated the card drivers and DirectX drivers, but I'm not getting anywhere. The system is a few years old, but I'm hopeful I can still use it for this purpose.

CPU: P4 3.2ghz

RAM: 512MB (upgrading to 2GB this week)

Video Card: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, 128MB 12/1/08 Driver update

Windows XP SP3 w/ November DirectX release installed

I forgot, Creator 2009, clean install.

Tried opening VideoWave, got an error message "There are insufficient graphics capabilities for the application to run which can be caused by the following: Video Card DRive may not support DirectX 9 or Your Video Card Hardware may not be sufficient for full DirectX 9 support."

My Radeon 9800 Pro, worked in my backup computer, before it died.

Get the latest DirectX.
