Sound Editor Included With Recordnow Music Lab 10

Question

I recorded 1GB of streaming audio in .mp3 format and find that I cannot open it in Sound Editor. Am I exceeding a limitation on the maximum .mp3 file size for Sound Editor? Maybe if I had recorded it in .wav format (recommended in the recording options) I would be able to edit the 1GB .wav file and then resave portions in .mp3 format.

Windows Movie Maker doesn't have any problems opening the 1GB .mp3 audio file. There isn’t any help available for this issue that I can find.

When trying to open the .mp3 file i get the following pop up error message.

The file "C:\My Music\Recorded Tracks\Audio.mp3" does not exist or is not a supported audio file.

.mp3 files of smaller size open properly.

Thanks for your help.
