Cannot see video

I burned my disc from my videocam. Everything looks great. I previewed the movie, everything was fine, but now when I try to watch the movie (from the DVD), I hear the audio, but the screen has numerous lines, and no movement. I can see nothing.....any ideas?

Yes, several but you might not like them. You have given us nothing to work on. Until we know your computer specs, what Roxio product you have and exactly what function (program in the version you have) you are using, and how you wrote the DVD, your replies may be nothing but SWAGs. Also include the information on your player. Check you manual to see if it will play the disc format that you used (plus or minus R). Did you check to see if the program had defaulted to PAL (outside the US) or NTSC (in US and some other countries.) Playing a PAL formatted disc on a NTSC player could result in that kind of problem.
