Vista Startup Issues

MountainMan

Recommended Posts

After attempting to download a free/trial version of CD creator(6?) which Vista did not accept, I removed what remnants there were of it from my Add/Remove Programs. I decided not to use this product.

Now, at startup, I have four different screens popping up stating "This driver is blocked due to campatibility issues".

Here is the total MS message that shows on these 4 screens:

"A CD-Recording driver is installed that might cause stability problems, including problems shutting down and problems using a CD/DVD drive. This driver will be disabled. Roxio, Inc. provides updated software that addresses these problems" I have checked on line for solutions from MS...to no avail!

I have to X out of each of these four screens each time I start. I have searched my CDrive for any hint of a Roxio item, none show.

How can I get rid of these pop-ups without re booting my computer?? Please help - Fritzy
