sknis
Installed MusicLab 10. Could not find Easy Audio Capture in sidebar. Doesn't exist. Now what? Trying to record Internet Radio. Looking for anybody with experience with this software? What's hiding under the "Home" tab? Did you install to a clean computer (no malware) and recently defraged with the anti-virus turned off? What build number do you have (about) is it RECORDNOW 10 (build : 112B11a)? Do your audio tab look like the picture? What happens if you open one of the two top applications? trfldt
Under the HOME is: Welcome, Applications, Resources....... After launching Roxio, I click on the Audio tab and I see the screen you sent. I can open first two or any application on list. Looks normal to this point....... Roxio support suggested I add and launch Easy Audio Capture from sidebar gadget list in Vista. This gadget does not exist........ I also deleted my initial load and reloaded the software with no change.............. The build in ABOUT is 112B11A, RNM Under the HOME is: Welcome, Applications, Resources....... tbrewst
When you installed did you do a Typical or Custom installation. Could be the Gadget is only installed if you check it in the Custom Installation.

Support has been know to be wrong It is an option in the EMC 10 suite.
trfldt
the MusicLab 10 clearly states on the box that this software will record Internet Radio along with all the other features...... I did a CUSTOM re-install of the software and the EasyAudio Capture is one of the check boxes listed. However after restarting the PC after loading, still no gadget is found...... karri
I don't know about the gadget, but if Music Lab 10 has Sound Editor, which I think it would, if you can open Sound Editor, then in the Add To Project menu (on the left) there is a choice for "Record" If you click on that you should get a window similar to Easy Audio Capture and should be able to capture from there. Then at least you would know if you could capture. I'm not sure what you click on in that Home screen to get there though. EDIT: It seems like Sound Editor is on the menu list down toward the end on the screen shot of Steve's above.
tbrewst
Have you checked in Add Gadgets to see if it's there and just not on the sidebar?
trfldt
Yes.....after each reload of the software, I did the + to add a gadget and it was not in the available gadgets to load........ I did see in the CUSTOM LOAD of the Roxio software a check box marked for EASY AUDIO CAPTURE. It appears the software is loaded on my PC but not accessible........I tried contacting DELL support but was routed to a forum and no one seems to know why gadgets can't load to the gadget list in VISTA.........
