I need to burn the files of a website I created onto a CD-ROM, with links preserved and ability to open the site on PC directly from disc. I've used website downloading utilities on the Mac, so links are local, but when I burn the folder in Mac (using the OS X disc burning utility) and then try to open the CD contents in a PC browser, I get a "can't find the file at /g:/.... message.
The same folder works fine if I've copy it onto a flash drive and open in Windows browser.
Finally, if I zip the folder in Mac and burn it onto CD, when I try to drag the zipped file onto the Win desktop I get a "can't move or copy" message and the folder has a lock icon.
Is Toast likely to do a better job of burning a PC-compatible CD of website files? Thanks!
