Mydvd Lab Ver 10 And Dvr-ms Audio Out Of Synce

bratboy

Question

I'm not sure where to post this and if there is a better place could the Mods please move it. Anyway I have MyDVD Lab version 10 and am trying to make DVD's of some of my DVR-MS files. The problem is the audio seems a hair out of sync.

I see an article and a link to a "Hotfix" when I went to support,

http://kb.roxio.com/search.aspx?URL=/conte...4CR&PARAMS=

That says:

VideoWave or MyDVD Projects using DVR-MS files out of sync

Products

Easy Media Creator 8, 7

WinOnCD 8

MyDVD 8

VideoWave 8, 7

Issue

When using DVR-MS files in a VideoWave or MyDVD, it is possible that the finished project is out of sync. That means the audio may be slightly ahead or behind the video that is shown.

Resolution

Please close any running instances of VideoWave or MyDVD and then download and install the following hotfix:

http://tools.roxio.com/support/c8/dvrms_hotfix.exe

Once the installation is complete you should be able to open your saved project and produce (VideoWave) or burn to disc (MyDVD) without experiencing this problem.

Would this hotfix help me and my version 10 or is there something else I should try?

Probably not.

Try cleaning and Defragging your hard drive.

Do you have the ability to burn to an ISO file or folders rather than directly to disc? Copy those items to you disc using Creator Classic (or Video Copy and Convert). This is a to stage process that separates the rendering from the burning and gets rid of a host of issues.
