Brendon
Hi, From the updates page, * Creator 2009 Service Pack 2 does not offer any new features. * All updates and features of previous Creator 2009 Service Packs are included in Service Pack 2. * You must own a valid copy of the full, retail version of Creator 2009. * If you did not purchase a retail copy, this update will not work for any other version of Easy Media Creator. * You must be a registered user to download the Service Pack. RFK318
The bottom line is that there was a conflict between Creator 9 Media manager and the Blackberry Media Manger that used Roxio. I uninstalled all of Roxio and reinstalled the Blackberry desktop and all is fine now. Rich

Rich K.What is the name and version number of the software you purchased? Where did you purchase it from? Is it a single CD, two CD's, or a DVD disc? What is the text of the error you get when you try to use the software?
RFK318
Easy Media Creator 9 Suite, two discs. purchased from Roxio/Sonic solutions p/n 150196-00EU. The error says that there were problems starting up Media Manager and has a MS error report note that I have not sent. Version: Media Manager- 940B075ENU- It looks like it was modified when I installed the blackberry SW Creator 9 Build 900B88FNNU- Note: If have not applied any patches/updates to the SW. I just reinstalled it yesterday when the SP2 said it could not be found. Thanks. Rich K.

You have Roxio Easy Media Creator 9, so the patch isn't going to work for that version.
RFK318
OK, Thanks. The question still is why doesn't Media Manager open without problems. I can delete that patch I guess. I will look for updates to Creator 9 I guess. Rich K
