Cashing When Creating Dvd From Some Tivo Files

Hello,

 

weird thing happening here:

although creating DVDs from tivo files (downloaded from my tivo through TIVO Transfer) worked 100% fine in the past, I am having some issues now. Toast crashes unexpectedly in the middle of the conversion or of the writing for some files, even when selecting save as disk image.

 

The report indicates this is due to a bad memory address being accessed by Toast ....

I have tried to isolate the file, but it keeps happening. If I put 1 or 2 tivo file in the project, it works. When I include the third one, I get the crash, but not always at the same point in the process (sometimes during the encoding of the first or second file, sometimes when writing to the disk image file...).

The third tivo file alone works fine too....

 

Is this a known issue?

Actually, I really think there is a problem with Toast and too many Tivo fragments in a project.

Run either the extended hardware test that's part of the install disc that came with your Mac, or use the application Rember to check if the problem may be a defect in the RAM.
