Burning Dvd - Video Copy And Convert

outerbank

Question

An iso image was burned to Copy and Convert and resides in the My Video folder. Opening the My Video folder shows a star symbol with the words Image below. Clicking on that results in two images appearing on the right hand pane. Just what are these two images, and what is the difference between them? Do you click on the lower image titled "Movie", or the upper one titled "Data"? I know that clicking on one or the other opens another window with the image on the left pane.

And, if I don't want to finalize the burn, where's the option to not finalize the disc? I did find this option when opening Creator 2009 by clicking on the "Tools" button after clicking on Burn DVD.

I also burned my slideshow using the Creator 2009 menu. The sldishow played okay. I decided to play the DVD using Window Media Player. It also played okay, but I noticed that on the right hand side of Win Media Player where what is playing is typically listed, there were two entries: Title 1 and Tiltle 2. I played Title 1 first. It was the slideshow. I then played Title 2 to see what this consisted of. It was the same slideshow. What am I seeing?

Your explanation helps clarify the subject somewhat. What I don't quite comprehend yet is why there are two items when I only burned one slidshow to Copy and Convert, and what do these two items represent? Under Entire DVD Content the following is listed: Image, 1 movie, 0 extras, Total size:2.87 GB, Audio lamguages: 1. unspecified (AC3 stereo)

Under Individual Movies is listed: Movie 1, Playtime: 43 min. 4 sec, Screen Format 4:3, Audio Languages: 1. unspecified. I'm assuming that both items represent information about the one production that was created.

And finally, which one of the two items shown is clicked when you want to burn your production to a DVD?

After a more careful study of the screen shot you provided in your reply, I understand what the distinction is between the two images. Seeing two images was a surprise after opening the MyDVD folder. I only expected to see one item, the single slideshow production that was created. The screen shot was very helpful. Thanks for the explanation.

OK :D

The key is not the picture but the meaning of the words…

Entire:

Individual:

That is what explains it
