Can No Longer Launch Program. Advice Needed.

I can't launch the program. Whenever I click on the desktop icon the following error message appears. "Roxio Creator has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

 

I uninstalled all the roxio programs and reinstalled just the creator 2009. I think I did a clean uninstall, following the roxio directions online. I tried twice uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem remains. I have tried for days to get some tech support but I only get put on hold until my call is disconnected at the end of day.

 

Anyone know what the problem might be or how to get the program working again?

What program do you have? You say you installed Creator 2009 (aka EMC 11) but you are posting in the EMC 0 forum. These are 2 different suites, 2 version apart.

 

 

Thanks for the reply. The program that I have according to the DVD box and on the face of the disk is "Roxio creator 2009". About posting in EMC (0) forum I'll have to re-read the site because that went over my head. But I kind of get the idea I am corresponding in the wrong place. Any directions from you would be appreciated.

It think that was a finger slip; it was supposed to be EMC 9. :)
