Error Ejecting Cd

I'm not sure if i'm in the right area. I have Roxio Creator Premier Blue-Ray 10.2.606 it came on my new Dell laptop. I am having issues closing a CD-R/1x-52x with a 145.788mb exe file on it. When I try to finalize it it gives me the following error:

Please insert an appendable disk that is cd-media or DVD write-once media.

I thought a CD-R was a write-once disk. When I look at the disk information it says the Disk Type is CD-R, Packet Writing.

I think Roxio is set to finalize on eject. When I try to eject it I get the following error:

An error occured while ejecting E:

Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

You are trying to mix apples and oranges…

The disc you are trying to use you have formatted for packet writing. – Big question is, since EMC 10 doesn't have a packet writer so how did you do that??? Possible answer is you have Vista and have used its' Live File System to format the disc. Now that disc is unusable for anything but LFS.

Classic requires only Blank discs and cannot finalize any packet writing disc. It could Finalize a data disc in any other format.
