SouthernGirl2
I have been using Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator Starter Kit Version 6. I use Windows XP. Drive identifier - LG CD-RW CED-8080B I recently uninstalled a lot of programs on my computer because it is running out of space. I uninstalled the Dell program that introduces you to your system. (My computer is a 2000 so I figure I know my system ok by now. ) I also think I uninstalled a soundblaster program or something like that that I didn't think I ever used. Could I have uninstalled a recorder? Before this I could use the Roxio program fine. I only need to be able to burn CDs & have done it a lot before. Error message that occurs when I try to record, just after I press the record button: There are no supported recorders available. Make sure that your recorder is powered on and that all cables are properly connected. Also, make sure that the latest version of the software is installed to make sure that you have the latest drivers. Any help would be appreciated. I just need to burn! To check if your burner is ok try to burn a small file (use a RW) using the built in burning program in XP. If you don't know, how go into the XP Help & Support and type in, make a CD.
