My Dvd9 - Lost Dvd Driver

lsplsp

Question

I have My DVD9 installed on my computer, which runs Windows XP. Ever since I had to re-install My DVD9 (long story for a different day) my computer will not recognize the DVD drive anymore. It will still run CDs, but not DVDs.

Based on an internet search, it seems that Roxio products have been known to do this, but there is does not seem to be any clear coherent instructions on how to recover the driver. I have a ticekt number from Roxio Tech Support, but I am not holding out any hope of ever hearing from them again.

For a "small" fee I am sure Dell will help me, but I'd rather not use them if I don't have to.

Any suggestions on how to recover the DVD driver?

Thanks.
