Burn A Dvd That Isnt Divx

Hi, I have toast titanium 9, and i know how to burn an .avi file to a disk using divx, however i have just bought my son a all in one tv and it odes not play divx, it will only play original files, and this is the same for the car, ,can you please tell me how i do this ? i appreciate it may take longer to do this, but it will be worth it ... if it means getting them on a disc taht is playable.

Choose the DVD-video setting in the Toast Video window. Add up to about 3 hours of video files. Set up the menu the way you want. Burn the disc.

 

If you choose Save as Disc Image you can preview the DVD before burning it to disc. Select the saved disc image using the Image File setting in the Copy window to mount it and watch it with DVD Player. If all is good click the burn button to make your DVD.
