Cd Spin Doctor Truncated My File!

JRob_MN

Question

I captured a 90-minute recording from an old cassette, drew the waveform and auto-split the tracks. All was well, until I decided to save my work. CDSD saved a 47-second clip from the beginning of my recording and threw all the rest away.

Figuring that I'd done something wrong, I REcaptured the audio, and this time went for a save immediately. The same thing happened!

I have reverted to version 5 until I hear someone tell me what I might be doing wrong, or until I hear that others have had similar problems and a solution is posted.

Grr.

What a pain. What I've found is that you must first mark a track before saving. It can be any track marker so don't worry about making it accurate. Do not save before making a track marker, though. After saving the file in this way you now can make your official track markers and it should all work out the way it is supposed to.

Alas, in my case I had already marked several tracks. What got saved was the first 47 seconds of the file; nothing else.

The previous ("fixed") 5.0.whatever version of CD Spin Doctor is working just fine; glad I held on to it.

That hasn't happened to me. Is the version 6.0.1?
