Problems Burning My Slide Show Roxio 10

I assmebled my photo's and background music in video wave.Sent my project to MYDVD picked out my menue and edited the background sound for it.I previewed my project and it looked good.I then burned to my ISO file.When I played back my project from the ISO file I found my menue was just a black screen with just the title of my project and background music playing.The rest of my project played well,but had lost it's qaulity,the photo's were not as clear and sharp as before when I first previewed before burning.The background music played well.I had set the settings before burning to the highest settings available.What happened?This is not my first slideshow project,all the other shows previous to this one work great.Why now?

Have you tried to create a small project with just a few slides, burn to iso and see if that works?

 

I did as you suggested Jim.I used 10 photo's follwed the exact same steps as in my larger photo slide show and everything worked like it was suppose to,both from the ISO file and when burned onto a DVD.Played back on the TV and this small project looked great.Now this I do not understand.

Because my project is so large I used a dual layered dvd (verbatim azo dvd + r dl)I went through a bunch of them and still the same problem,I then started sending to ISO.And still I get the same thing.The preview before burning looks great.But when sent to ISO.When I preview the ISO I get a black menue screen with my project title and background music.The rest of the project photo's loose their sharpness and clarity,but the project background music plays well.

Same thing on the TV.

Just keep adding to the project, saving burning to iso file and testing. Perhaps at some point you'll discover where the problem creeps in. I never assemble a project in one big "project" but build up from several smaller projects. Much easier to work with and less chance of losing everything

Why don't you read this thread, try out some (or all, if necessary) of the suggestions, and report back.

 

Tried the suggestions in the thread you pointed me to.

my project works great except for the menue screen is black,my project title remains so does my background music for the menue. getting really frustrated.
