DVD Builder custom menu fonts

I have created and saved a custom menu in DVD Builder. When I build a new disk and choose my custom template, the header text and background image are retained. Great! But unfortunately, the font, size and color for both the menu header and the captions on each individual title have vanished. In addition to making changes on the template itself, I have gone into advanced option and changed to my prefences there too but to no avail. Is there anyway to get my settings to stick? Thanks!

Actually, that feedback IS helpful. Tells me it's a software not user error. Thanks.
