I have had this Roxio program for about 1 year. I really liked it up until 1 month ago. Now I make a picture slide show and when I try to burn it, I get this message. "failed to start the image writing operation while burning image- error 80004003 - error while aborting". My firmware is up to date and so are my drivers. My HP media center is fairly new and I have tried different DVDs. It is not my computer.....it is this program. I have taken it off and reinstalled it. It worked 1 time and now not working again. I am sick of this whole darn program. Resolve the problems soon or round file for this program and go to someone else's program.

Let us know what program you really have, because Creator 2009 came out last Fall.

And, we aren't Roxio. We are users, like you, so if you want to round file the software, it's up to you.

You have had this program for about a year (obviously its not Creator 2009), it worked fine during that time. Now all of a sudden the program fails? Have you considered that there might be aproblem with your burner, with the DVDs you are using, updates you have done plus a whole host of other possibilities. But to blame the program after a year of successful use is a bit ridiculous.

Perhaps if you were to start a new thread instead of hijacking someone elses and stating your problem with some details on what you are doing, your system specs, etc some one might be able to help you.

Did you check the KB article in the link?

The best solution is to update your firmware and make sure that your system is totally up to date for burning discs. Please refer to the articles below for further information.

so i've converted my files to the regular dvd format and now when i try to burn it gets nearly finished and i get a burning error message with the error number 80004003, anyone know what this means?

Well, this article discusses that error code, albeit it for EMC9, as opposed to Creator 2009, which is where you posted. Might be worth a look ....
