0 Jim_Hardin
NO, not going to happen! That applies only to camcorders and I have not seen a camcorder that can be controlled by a USB connection.

That applies only to camcorders and I have not seen a camcorder that can be controlled by a USB connection. What I am looking for a "pause" button on the capture side to stop the capture not terminate, then I will move the VHS tape to next location and start paly there and come back and resume the capture. Without making to separate files. thanks
0 Jim_Hardin
Not going to happen ~ is there an echo in here??? Media Import will allow you to stop but not the way you want. You will Stop Capture but the file will be closed out and saved. When you click Capture a new file will be started. Nothing wrong with this at all! Then you use your editor (VideoWave) to put these pieces together to form a Production. The alternate is to capture everything and use VW to edit our the unwanted… But honestly I have never heard of any Video Capture program that works like you described.
