Tip: Solved Problem With The Video Convert 11 And Service Pack 3

HoNiB

Question

Tip: Solved problem with the Video Convert 11 (Copy and Convert DVD-Video ) and Service Pack 3

I have a Danish version of Vista Premium.

When installing the Service Pack 3, the following new language folders was created in the folder "Video Convert 11"

(language folders: 1030, 1036, 1040, 1041, 1046 and 3082)

Folder 1033 were created earlier.

When I opened the Video Convert 11 after installing Service Pack 3, the user interface was translated into Danish and functions and graphics were displayed incorrectly.

By deleting the new folder and keep folder 1033, I could re-open the Video Convert 11 with the normal US English interface (functions and graphics).

I hope that the error will be corrected by the release of Service Pack 4.

Kind regards

I have all those folders on my system and there is no problem with language. I doubt that is any error that needs correction with SP4. I would bet that the problem arises from some Vista setting.

But as long as you got it working, that is the important thing

thanks for your reply

I think it has something to do with the mix of a Danish Vista Premium and the new folders created by Service Pack 3.

Your windows version is probably an English version. Thats why you do not experience the same problem.

I hope my tip can be of some use for other users from non-english countries such as Norway and Sweden etc.
