Creator 10 Not Recognising Capture Card

Dean171

Question

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone can help? I have Creator 10 installed on my machine but Media Import refuses to recognise my capture card. When the program loads, the drop down menu indicates that the card is there but when clicked upon the system just hangs and will not display the capture screen.

Just one of many problems I have experienced with the program, others include issues include:

Converting Video 8 & VHS video transferred in Mpeg format (via power director v5-bundled copy) to H.264 for play back on my Mp4 player.

Converting AVI to Mpeg displays lines and blurring.

In fact just about anything I have tried has failed to work with Creator 10. As I have committed to buying the full product I would like to persist and use it as my main media platform but at this time I have lost confidence and am seriously thinking about giving up and buying an alternative.

Can anyone help??

Use the software, that came with your capture card, to capture your video. Then use VideoWave to edit the video.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I have tried but when I have edited with Videowave the cut down copy plays with no sound in MS Media player and plays blank or is not recognised by the Ps3??

Dean
