Sandy Stewart
I downloaded PhotoShow 6 and it took hours. I received a message that one of my PhotoShows could not be downloaded and was removed. I need this PhotoShow. Why did this happen, and how do I retrieve it? I thought if I downloaded the new version I could make photoshows like I did with the non-Roxio product, but I still get an error message when I click on the icon. Aren't Roxio's PhotoShows compatible with Window's Vista? roxonline
Yes, that's correct. You can burn DVDs with your own MP3s in version 6. Some things to check: - Can you upload the show with the MP3? - Can you playback the show with the MP3? - Can you play the MP3 in Windows Media Player separately? - Are you able to burn a DVD with the standard music clips? If you can do all these things but still not burn with that MP3 you should probably log a support ticket so we can track and follow-up on the issue. DAinVA
You can add your own MP3 music now . . . but only ONE selection per show??? That's ridiculous!!! Just imagine listening to the same song over and over again for ten or fifteen minutes!! At least with PhotoShow 5 you can use more than ONE song per show. It's just that with the rather limited library of songs, all your shows start to sound alike. Does not allow for much creativity. If PhotoShow 6 is supposed to be an upgrade or improvement, it should certainly allow for more flexibility and creativity, not less!
roxonline
PhotoShow 6 is less than 10MB so it should only have taken a few minutes to download. PhotoShow 6 supports Windows XP and Vista as well. It sounds like not all of the product was downloaded. I recommend checking your internet connection speed (one site that does this is www.speedtest.net), or trying the download again. As for the PhotoShow that may have been removed, you should log a support ticket so they can track this down. If you have the show URL that would be helpful. Audacity will make a mix of mp3 music to create one large mp3 file. If you have other audio editing software you can use that. Audacity is free, Gold Wave has a free trial. Please only one post per rant. Give others a chance. Rememberer who you bough the software from. It was not Roxio; they did not get your money. You can always look for other software that will do what you want. BTW, try uploading DRM protected music to YouTube; you could get a nasty e-mail like I did. You are OK if you want to make your own DVD or share it a different way.
