How Do I Import Date And Time In My File?

ok, i have roxio creator 2009 ultimate. the movies i am importing are from a 7 or so year old sony dcr-trv20 camcorder. it will not put the date or time on the recording, but data codes it into the movie file. i can press the data code button and it will show the date and time of the recording, but it will not import into roxio, either on screen or in the file. is there anyway to correct or fix this without having to go back through the video on the camera and look at it there and then go back and manually add it somewhere?

You will have to get 3rd party software to capture and display the date-time stamp. Do a google search for such utilities.
