bocalenny
I have been able to play any CD's I copied in my car CD player until about a month ago. Now new CD's, made from the same batch of blanks, will not play in my carf. Older CD's I made will play. Dell made some corrections to my NEW computer about a month ago--just about the time this problem started. Dell refuses to correct a problem caused by one of their dumber technicians. Is it possible they changed the way ROXIO copies the CD? Do they call it-- formatting? CD player in car is a Panasonic. I just contacted them, but you may have a better and quicker answer. The cloned CD will play in my computer, in my wifes car, in my CD player in my house, but not in my car. I just bought a batch of blanks made by another manufacturer and same result. I wiped the playing side of the CD with a dry cloth and got SOME intermittent music out of it--a few bars here and there. I would appreciate it if anyone has had the same problem and how to correct it. Dell is not standing behind this new computer that still has a 90 day warranty for return. Dell is not the great company they advertise they are.

It seems that if the just made CD plays in all players except your car then there is nothing wrong with Roxio (or your Dell for that matter) but is with your car player.
