I am using Sonic LE v7, and the help section makes me think this is possible, but I can't figure out how to tell it to write the file back to the hard disk. When you hit burn does it come up with a screen that shows your drives? Below the drives does it say "Save Disc Image file" or something similar? If so check that box and uncheck your optical drives. Here's an example from a Roxio version: Couldn't find those options, but I found a CD for the Plus version, and when I installed that, the options appeared. So, Problem Solved.
