Audio Problem

abdudley

Question

After downloading Apple's Quick Time 7.6 I have lost my audio when I'm in the Videowave area. I do have a 64 bit PC and I could not find Apple's 64 bit download on their site but Roxio Tech said it would work OK with 32 or 64 bit PC. I removed the Quick Time download but it didn'd make any difference. My audio seems to work OK in other areas of Creator . Can anyone help? Thanks

What's the original source of the files for which you have lost audio? All files or just certain types?

All of my files are video clips from VHS tapes using a Roxio Video Capture USB devicce. I have noticed that one production file plays good in Videowave when I open it from the file itself. This production was saved before I downloaded Apple's Quick Time. ( With my old PC it was caled windows explorer, I don't know what to call this area with Vista. ) When in " Windows Explorer " I can open any of the video clips and they will play OK, audio and video. When you open them this way they use Windows Media Player.
