Error While Encoding Movie 1

Down and Out

Question

While burning a DVD using MyDVD I am getting a error message "An unrecovable device error occrred. Error while Encoding Movie1".

I am trying to make a DVD from my slideshow old and new ones. I was able to make a DVD using MyDVD before updating my Roxio 2009. My Roxio 2009 version now is 1.1.110 SP3; 4.50.05A. Build 111B10E, R03;411B33A,C11. My MyDVD build is 111B10E. I am using Windows XP Home, with a Intel Celeron ® CPU 2.20 GHz.

I am not getting a error code only the error message error code.

Does anyone have a fix for me

THANKS

One does not buy a Celeron and expect to run with the big dogs…

May work if you divide the task into 2 separate parts.

In MyDVD when you select Burn, clean the check mark by your burner and select Folder. Note the location of where the Folders will be created.

Burn and close MyDVD.

Then open Video Copy and Convert. Point it to the Folder and pick the Movie or Movies in there. It will burn to disc.

The bolded text may be part of the issue. Are you adding old slide show projects that were made with a previous version of EMC ? Are you adding the project files or are you adding slide show mpg2 files? I know that trying to edit slide shows from previous versions (7/8/9) of EMC will not work but I've never heard that My DVD won't accept them - but I wouldn't doubt it.
