Mydvdplus Version 6.1.3

SonicWhy?

Question

Hi,

I have Sonic MyDVD plus version 6.1.3 accompanying Sonic DigitalMedia Plus version 7. I recently lost my hard drive and I installed a new Seagate 1.5 Terabyte hard drive. I installed the original system (Windows XP Media Center Edition) that came from Hewlett Packard (the OEM source of the Sonic software). I upgraded IE to IE 7, but then I uninstalled the upgrade and went back to IE6. I have Windows Media Player 10. When I first installed the Recovery software, it installed the Sonic applications, but the Sonic MyDVD Plus would not come up. When I forced it to open directly through Windows instead of through DigitalMediaPlus, it would not import recorded TV movies as it had before. I uninstalled the MyDVD Plus software, then reinstalled it. Now the MyDVD Plus opens. It imports the files up to the point of giving me a "button" for the movie. However, when I try to save the MyDVD project, I get a message that the "disc is full" It then shows the path that attempted to save, as well as an error message number - 19027. When I input that number into Sonic's support search, I get a response that says that the "word" is not recognized by Sonic Help. I know that the disc is not really full. It has over 1200 GB available.

Can anyone help with this situation?

Thanks,

SonicWhy?

P.S.: My equipment is HPMediaCenter m7250M upgraded to 2GB SDram and 1.5 TB HardDrive.

All support for OEM versions come from the supplier of the their software (in your case HP).

Have you checked the HP site and see if they have a similar forum like this one and post your question there to see if other fellow users have encountered the same problem as you using this OEM version, or contact their Support group.

There was a post on here awhile ago, with the same error 19027 , that user was using a OEM version from Dell and they never came back with any info.

With any luck you may get another fellow user on here that has the same OEM version as you that will respond.

Good luck
