After producing an ISO, I bring up DVD disk Copy. Select the ISO I want to burn. On the right hand side, I select the drive I want to burn it to. When I insert a disk, it will cause a re boot of the system.
After the system is once again up and stable, Roxio will work, and I can select the speed needed and the system will burn a disk.
I have a Matrox double screen system with the latest drivers, and I have updated to Direct X 9 , so all the drivers are current. I also have the latest download for Roxio 8.
I have tried it with both of my DVD burner drives and it does the same thing. I also have the latest firmware for both the drives. Something else missing, or is this another glitch that Roxio needs to fix?
Another lesson learned not so related to above....always burn at far lower speeds than your purchased disks state they can burn. It will save you a lot of coasters. The extra time is worth it in the long run.
