I can't figure out how to extract a clip. I drug the movie disk into the DVD Video screen and the edit and extract buttons appeared. I was able to mark the begin/end of the clip, but cannot copy it. If I click on either the edit or extract button, the file is updated, but no follow on screen to save the file. The manual is worthless, and if you type "extract" into help, it has nothing. That said, through some sequence of events I cannot recreate, I was once able to get to a point when it said to insert a disc. The disc did in fact seem to be copying the clip, but when I tried to open the disc, only the cover screen with the correct name of the clip was there, but no clip -- the disc had only about 47K on it. Plus, I also just want to save these clips to my computer vs a disc -- I teach online so want to add clips to my classroom from the desktop, but Toast 10 seems to require a disc for copying. I'm reasonably computer literate, but don't do movies and media files routinely, so most of the explanations on these discussions are over my head from a technical point. It shouldn't be this hard, but it certainly is frustrating.
