Label Printing Offset

PhotoStud

Question

When printed, images are offset to the right on the label media. The label image is shown correctly in the Layout View (upper left), & after choosing Print (also upper left) but the image is printed to the right of the page, instead of on the left side where the label is. I have been through every possible setting, have tried mirror imaging & numerous other "fixes", but nothing works. This is no minor offset adjustment; the label image is offset to the right by over three inches. Am using an HP OfficeJet 7680 with the latested drivers and firmware. Any suggestions would be appreicated.

Use Label Maker. You can make adjustments.

This is a larger problem than the Label Maker micro adjustment can resolve: Picture an 8.5x11 CD-label sheet, in portrait. There is a label in the upper left quadrant and one in the lower right quadrant (both overlapping the center-line). When I choose print, the image is shown on the upper left, where it should be. However the image prints way over to the right, in the upper right quadrant. In fact, it prints exactly where it should be, if the removable label were placed in the upper right quadrant. From a quick measurement, it appears that the image is shifted right by about 2.75 inches; again, more than the Label Maker is able to adjust.

I don't really know what to say…

I select Memorex – there are only 2 choices, "Memorex Discs" & "Memorex Discs (A4)"

When I print it prints a disc in the upper left corner.

It normally prints only the upper one. If you want the lower one printed you have to click it in the preview window. You can select both or turn off one of them.
