Thanks,

I think I have the full version though.

Please tell us what version you do have, saying "I think I have the full version " does not help.

If you have the full version then you open Creator Classic and follow the directions in post #3.

I'm using EMC 10 - Data Disk function:

after selecting the files/folders to add add clicking on the Button I get the message:

"Disk inserted is not blank. Would you like to erase it now?"

You are using the stripped down Sonic data burning software. It doesn't burn appendable (session) discs. If you want to add more data to a previously burned disc, use Creator Classic, and when you hit the Burn button, click on the + sign, by Advanced Options, and uncheck the box to the left of Read-Only disc.

You will then be able to add data to that disc later.

In advaced menu, there is an option that:

"Automatically load appendable discs"

Do you mean that?

Because I couldnt find "Automatically Import previous sessions" option in Easy Madia Creator 10 LJ.

Second question is one of the option:

"Enable disc spanning for Data Discs"

What does it mean?

I specified Data Disc, not Creator Classic.

Data Disc was the program you said you were using when you cut into this thread.

Classic does do it automatically so it doesn't need an option.

Span Discs is an option that will eventually result in lost data. It might enjoy 90% reliability, but more likely you will be in the 10% of unhappiness

I solved problem.

I copyed all folder to my computer.

I fast erased disc with roxio.

I burned a folder with roxio.

Then i restarted the program.

Than i wanted to burn another folder (secaond folder)

I inserted the dvd+RW and press load disk button (at that time it worked)

Than i saw the first folder in drag drop window.

I added the second folder and i burned it.

So i managed the make multisession disk with this version.

The problem is that: Roxio couldn't see tha multisessions layer on the disk that made by another burning program (ex. nero)

And In this version, you have to press the load disc button first. Otherwise when you drag and droped a folder to window, it says "Disk inserted is not blank. Would you like to erase it now?"

So.....

If you press the load disc button and if it says "pls insert an appendable data disc and try again", You can do my solution (above) to solve the problem.

Whenever I try to add files to an existing DVD+RW I am told that the software needs to delete the exsting files before I can add any.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

In the Projects area, click Data Disc to start a new Data Disc project.

Insert the disc you want to add data to into your recorder.

Click Import Data from an appendable disc.

The data on the disc is imported from the disc and added to the Project area.

Do you have the full retail version of Easy Media Creator 10 ?

It sounds like you have a OEM version which does not contain the Creator Classic application which allows you to

make a appendable disc (add to a existing CD or DVD).

Most OEM versions are a cut down version of the Full retail version and dont have all the feature's.
