No Dvd Audio

I am running into problems when burning an .avi file to DVD, no audio. The video is fine and transfers over just fine but there is no audio. I have tried the burned discs on several DVD players, all with the same results. I am using a Mac 1.8GHz PPC G5, OS 10.5.6 with Toast 10.0.

 

Any ideas? Do I have something set wrong (I tried reseting all options).

If the AVI has ac3 audio then you need to download and install the free Perian codec available at www.perian.org. After doing that you need to start over and have Toast re-encode a new video DVD.
