I had this once with the 8.00 version of the software. Have you updated to the 8.05? Also, please post your video card/chip specs. Update your drivers at a minimum.

Try this. Clear the proxy files by going to tools/options then use the clear button. Wait for the proxy files to clear and rebuild. It may take several minutes depending on your show.

While you are there is there a dot next to "software" or "hardware"? Please post where the dot is.

Now, go to one of the transitions that did not change and do the same thing you did with the first one. That should do it. If not do the next one. They should all change if you do this just a couple of times.

:) Yes this works if the software option is activated rather than the hardware option. Thanks, crd1944

Do you have an onboard chip for a video card? If not, update your video drivers so that you can use hardware mode. There are more transitions available using hardware mode than in software mode.

List your card.

If it works when you turn off the hardware option it also means that your system is not fully compatible with EMC 8. There are several reasons for this: you have not installed the latest video drivers or are not running the latest version of Directx (9c) or your video card is not compatible with all of EMC 8. Please list your system specs es[pecially your video card. Perhaps someone can spot something which may help you to make full use of EMC 8.

After setting duration and dissolve and applying to all, every second photo retains the dissole and every other one does not. this happens in slideshow assist. and video wave. Help
