Roxio Label Creator - Network Print Does Nothing

ALT

Question

When in the label creator, i select print, it tells me to collaborate, i select no. then i selected OK to say i'm ready to print... and nothing happens

i can print from any other program in the world, but this one doesnt work? its gotta be bugged... cause i've been printing all year long until i ran into this program. the network printer shows up in the dropdown menu and everything... why does this have to be so complicated? i just dont get it

I'm just trying to do one thing. Print this image onto a disc, and with one printer, lol.

Someone else posted a similar issue. The program is not designed to work on a network so perhaps that stands true for your networked printer also.

That is just a guess; I have no first hand knowledge nor experience (and sometimes I really don't know). That is what used to be called a SWAG !

WTF keeps happening to my posts? They keep getting deleted. Anyways. When I press OK, nothing happens on the page, it doesn't print.

ALT,

Your post that has been replied to is right here where it's always been:

http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=49368

Your other "duplicate" and "me too" posts look to have been removed to avoid confusion. Making multiple posts all over the boards about the same thing only causes confusion. Stick to your one post that has replies made.

There is no OK on the page; just a print button. Make sure you change the settings on your printer for manual or auto feed, the paper and the quality. Are the printer drivers up to date?

You don't see an OK on the print page? That's weird...

When I go to File > Print. The page shows up capturep.jpg... You don't see OK on that page?

That page is from Label Creator; not Photosuite projects. Also the printer you have shown is not what you said you had. What are you trying to do- make a poster and/or birthday card or are you trying to print a disc label?

No idea what Photosuite projects even is. And I did say label creator showed my network printer in the drop down menu. I'm just trying to print out a disc label for my CDs

I calibrated the printer. The printer printed the test pages out, and now it's still not printing the label.

capturep.jpg

It doesn't do anything >_< omg

It calibrates perfectly without any trouble, but it won't print when i press OK

Uncheck print disc outline. Do you have the printer set to feed manually or automatically?

An none of it may be any good since you are doing different things with different printers. !

Sort of looking for that money you lost 20 feet away by looking under the streetlight because the light is better.

If you didn't do the full uninstall/install, then you have wasted those 3 years.

Full uninstall? Oh god... What's that? It's not the same as Add/Remove Programs? What else am I missing? Why can't uninstallers just include every thing it need to get rid of itself? >_<

Sorry for complaining so much, im just frustrated simple stuff isnt working.

Creator 2009 has two labeling programs - the simple Sonic module called Express Labeler, and the more versatile Roxio module called Label Creator, which is reached through a button in step 3 of Express Labeler.

Both these programs seem to share the same printing module, which will not let you print labels until you have calibrated the printer against the program, thus making sure that the labels print in the right place on your disc or label stock.

I guess you'll have to calibrate.
